Thank God for…

I live by the Faith of the Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me ." Galatians 2:20.

III. The ________Royal ___________ Treatment.
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies” Psalms 103:4

IV. A ________Rewarding _____________ Life Now.
”Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalms 103:5

“Cling To Jesus, And Never Stop Trusting Him”

“Let us cling to Jesus and never stop trusting Him.” Hebrews 4:14-16

 

Intro: In the comic strip Peanuts..., Linus is always "clinging to his blanket."  What do you cling to?

 

I cling to Jesus because…
I.  He is the _________Son____________________________ of God (4:14).

Matthew 28:18 Jesus said, “I have been given complete authority in heaven and on earth.”  (See also Leviticus 16)

Closing:  To whom or what will you cling today, this week..., December and in 2007?Cling to Jesus. Cling to his every word. For you when you cling to Jesus, you will have life that is filled with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and the one we need a lot of, self-control.

 

 

"FILL ‘ER UP "

“For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,” Ephesians 3.14-21

Intro: The Apostle Paul encourages the Christians at Ephesus, about how awesome God is. Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: We are a community that God has called together. Ephesians 2:8 says, For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, (9) not a result of works, so that no one may boast. And here is what Paul prays will be the result of pray.

I. The first result is inner _____________________________________.

Ephesians 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

II. The second result is ______________________________________.

Ephesians 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

III. The third result is ________________________________________.

Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Closing: Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. God’s people know how wide, how long, how high, and how deep God love is. Filled with the fullness of God, filled with the gifts and grace of God. Let’s be filled up! Amen.
